Then, on Thursday, February 1, get out of the house around 7:00 p.m. and head over to Grandma’s House Brewery (1710 S. Broadway in Denver) for a reading to celebrate Russell Brakefield’s exciting new collection, Irregular Heartbeats at the Park West. Joining the celebration will be Kate Partridge, author of the powerful collection, Ends of the Earth. Beer and poetry! Pretty soon you’ll be up and dancing with Grandma herself.
Joseph Hutchison, Colorado Poet Laureate 2014-2019, has published 20 collections of poems and edited or co-edited three poetry anthologies. He currently directs two master’s-level programs for University College at the University of Denver: Professional Creative Writing and Arts & Culture Management. Joe lives with his wife, Melody Madonna, in the mountains southwest of Denver, Colorado, the city where he was born. 
January 27 is a Saturday, not a Monday. Which evening is Cooperman’s reading, Saturday or Monday? I assume the 7 pm starting time is Mountain Standard Time, which makes it a late night for this east coaster!
