Can it be more than a month now since the good news arrived that Jim Ciletti was named Pikes Peak Poet Laureate? Of course it can, Time being the slippery eel that it is. Luckily news that stays news stays on the Web awhile. See here, for example, and here. I’ve written about Jim’s work before, of course, and I’m hoping his new-found celebrity will result in more of it surfacing in print. It would be just one welcome side-effect of the Pikes Peak Poet Laureate Project, whose first laureate was the inimitable Aaron Anstett, and which is helping to keep the art alive and well in the Pikes Peak region.
