The party line has be reaffirmed from time to time. Otherwise they'd forget and backslide. But I always 'ear' on the side of poetry.

    lucky stroke, as I

just noticed that 124,198 people looked / read this post on your blog ….
how many of them actually read the poem and the article …. and got beyond any
'enjambment' much less disconnected from boths prescribed / boring 'context' and 'syntax' ?

any / all praxis aside
how to just proceed
minus the connectives<

Harriet has a blue link at the bottom of the page where readers can “report a problem with the poem.” First amusing misperception of the day (I think they meant technical problem). At first I thought the poem was written tongue in cheek, a poet making fun of badly written poetry. His ear essay had me stop reading when he began pontificating about Creeley’s arbitrary, motivated enjambments

Ever notice how much these guys sound like an oil company executive placidly explaining to "news" reporters why dumping thousands of gallons of oil into the ocean isn't really bad for the environment?
