RD Armstrong (that’s RD, not R.D.) is a somewhat enigmatic figure in the Southern California poetry scene as well as the world of the Small Press…perhaps because he wears two hats, one as poet and one as publisher (Lummox Press). He has previously published six full length collections of poems and one of short stories and nineteen chapbooks. As publisher, he has also edited twelve publications and published some seventy titles since 1994. His latest book, E/OR – Living Amongst the Mangled (Lummox Press, 2010), is a collection of poetry and blogs. He lives alone in Long Beach, CA.
