I just wanted to note that I’ve added a new destination to my Recommended Links list: Tom Montag’s The Middlewesterner. Montag is engaged in a daily (almost) minimalist notational project (now that ought to make the Ph.Ds take it seriously) that I think deserves attention. He cultivates openness and Zen-like in-the-moment insight: better than a strong cup of coffee in the morning (or a stiff drink). Give it a look!
Joseph–I just came across your kind words. Thank you. We labor in isolation, and forget that sometimes rays of light do reach others. I appreciate the link.<br /><br />And hello to Brian!
Yes.
I <I>didn’t</I> know about Montag’s involvement in your book, Brian. Would that be <I>Rooted Sky</I>?
Glad you like what he is doing.<BR/>As you may know, it was through Tom that my first book was published.<BR/><BR/>About Silliman’s <I>The Alphabet</I>, if you haven’t read the L section, read at least that.<BR/>I’ve only read a few passages of the many Geof Huth posted, but his response about L to someone who had left a comment was highly positive.
That’s the one the jogged my forgotten intention to post the link. Sweet!
this, i already love:<BR/><BR/>’Why must I<BR/>stand back to<BR/><BR/>understand?<BR/>Stay out of<BR/><BR/>if I’m to<BR/>see into?'<BR/><BR/>thanks
