    Very deep-image, Joseph. You sure do bring back memories of those retreat things Judith Wray organized in the mountains–however did Colorado PITS afford them? Knowing Bill, I doubt that his remark was altogether kindly intended, but it&#39;s good that you were able to make a silk purse out of it anyway.     At first reading, I didn&#39;t catch any echoes of Bly (or of anyone else in particular) in the poem you&#39;ve given here, though once I read what Matthews said about the &quot;parody of Bly,&quot; I could hear it in the poem. Especially if I imagined somewhat longer lines, and maybe four-line stanzas.<br /><br />As I&#39;m getting what you&#39;re saying here, it seems to me that what this is
