hey look what is "out there" !
http://www.poetryfoundation.org/features/audioitem/1956
and I guess that they are giving tis legitimacy via Ronald Johnson ?

RJ of The Book of the Green man AND The Shrubberies..
I think that Ron Johnson was "jerking off" the contemporary Poetry Hacks and Tricksters….
maybe we should clear this up via Ron

I heard and seen this erasure "poetry"
I think they got it fro Andre Gide when he
spewed-forth upon the page and smushed
"it"

I think that they now teach Erasure Poetry at
the University of Jerking Off in one of their
graduate Creative Writing programs …

meanwhile not one single person ANYWHERE
has mention Anoushka

And — as if to emphasize the point — the word verification on my previous comment was (I'm not making this up) "pooshine."

Bacon on a stick — soon to appear at the Minnesota State Fair (if it hasn't already).

We must excuse our fellow poets: In such lean times, some of us have to find alternative ways of bringing home the bacon, write?

You're right about Mac Low's mastery. I wonder, though, if real poetry doesn't involve the poet being mastered by the language rather than the other way around. ???

    Ah, Joseph–

don't be so hard on yourself. Someone's got to do the dirty job of making us aware of the unadulterated shit in poetry today.

P.S. At least Mac Low had a proven mastery of language to begin with.
