    Thanks for comments, amigos. Let's hope a fan who is also a good editor sets about gathering all of Bill's work into one volume. If lesser (in my humble opinion) neglected poets like Spicer and Ceravolo can be collected, why not Knott?

    thanks for &#39;hanging in&#39; with the justwhatis of what he embraced. Off now to my stash<br />to re-enjoy what he sent to me….<br /><br />it is getting to the point/place here in my 73rd year<br />where there are damn few Originals left …. and<br />fewer who give a rat&#39;s-ass about their works…. or them.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />

    A very fine tribute, indeed, Joseph. My admiration of the man always came through you and your wonderful blog posts. In fact, I&#39;ve gotten many an introduction to fine American poets here at &quot;The Perpetual Bird&quot;.<br /><br />It&#39;s always sad to lose a brother bard.
