    Yes. As always, technology is as effective as the person who’s using it. These days, everyone’s a publisher, everyone does layout, everyone writes, but that doesn’t automatically make what they produce worthwhile.     Perhaps my tongue was tucked in my cheek a bit. I do wonder, though, if there is a future for paper books, which are not—as Yudu.com says it’s books are—"carbon neutral." I wonder if Yudu calculates the coal energy (in my case) it takes to power up and run the computer I’m typing on right now. And if I sat around all day reading books on this screen … well, there goes another dinosaur!<BR/><BR/

    This “future of publishing” is amazing indeed. I had no idea.
