Over to the right you’ll see a photo of my new, big fat collection of poems, The World As Is: New & Selected Poems, 1972-2015. My author’s copies arrived today from the publisher, NYQ Books, and oh my, NYQ did a beautiful job of production.
Many thanks to Raymond Hammond, my editor at NYQ, a gentleman, fellow poet, critic, layout artist, and committed poetry lover who lavished a great deal of time on this project. His good taste and good sense have made the book better from punctuation to page and cover design.
The cover, I need to add, showcases a resonant painting entitled “Earth Soul,” by the extraordinary Raina Gentry. Thanks, Raina, for your beautiful contribution!
I’ll be launching The World As Is at The Tattered Cover Colfax store on Saturday, October 15, at 7:00 p.m. Please bring yourself and invite any poetry lovers you know!
Joe,
Congratulations.
Looking forward to your October 15 launch.
Dan

Yay! I’ll be there for the launch and am so excited for the book.
Congratulations, Joe. I will be there. Was going to ask how to get a copy, but you answered my question. I’m assuming the TC is at Colfax? See you there.
Congratulations , I will be there to cheer your success.
Congratulations, as always, Joe, for another successful venture in the publishing world! I’m looking forward to celebrating with you and the rest of your ‘fans’!
All best!
Congratulations!!
